QUEZON CITY, PHILIPPINES – Following a series of system-wide orientations, the University of the Philippines (UP) Office of the Vice President for Digital Transformation (OVPDx) hosted a meeting on April 14, 2026 with the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR), UP Diliman University Library, and the UP Diliman Office of the University Registrar (OUR) to discuss the rollout of a new unified Digital ID system.

The said meeting covered the system’s key features and its potential to support both student services and alumni engagement initiatives. The Digital ID will integrate into existing academic information systems, provide a more secure digital form of unique identification for students, and promote efficient monitoring of alumni activities.

CUs are currently in the pilot integration phase, with ongoing engagements, testing, and deployment efforts underway.

The unified identity platform accelerates UP’s digital transformation by establishing a modern and interoperable identity management system. It is intended to enhance student services, improve campus security, and streamline administrative processes across the entire UP system.
